We believe that life is meant to be lived in community with each other, and that SouthPointe would be better if you were part of it. Whether you attend weekly or are thinking about exploring SouthPointe for the first time, we’d love to see you at one of our upcoming events. Feel free to bring a friend (or two!).

Curious what we offer on an ongoing basis? Check out our regular programming.

Want to see what service is like before coming in person? Listen to or watch one of our past messages.

Searching for something else? We'd love to have a conversation with you. Send us a message on our Connect page, and we'll be in touch.

Grief Share

When: Begins Wednesday, January 8th at 6:00 pm and goes for 13 weeks

Where: The Gathering place (in the family center)

What: Grief Share is for everyone who is grieving the death of a loved one—whether you’ve experienced the loss of a spouse, parent, child (infant, young child, teen, adult, unborn), friend, sibling, coworker, or other relative. A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. The cost of the workbook is $20, which can be paid on the first night you attend. Also, free childcare is available upon request. Please sign up in advance so we know how many workbooks to provide.

To sign up or if you have questions? Contact Heather Anderson or send us a message on our Connect page, and we’ll be in touch.

Parenting Seminar - Habits of the Household

When: Saturday, January 25th from 10am -2pm

Where: The Worship Center or Gathering Place (in the family center) depending on attendance

What: We are hosting a one day parenting seminar called Habits of the Household. Parenting happens in habits. We make meals, shuttle our kids to events, answer their questions, discipline them and do bedtime. But did you know that even these ordinary routines can serve as extraordinary opportunities to live out God's love in profound ways? This seminar will help you discover simple practices you can implement around your daily routines and seemingly mundane moments that will lead to a lifetime of growing closer to God - both for you and everyone in your home. Cost of this seminar is $10 per family unit to offset the cost of lunch. Free childcare is available upon request.
